What a good boy he was! He started off a little alert…just couldn’t keep his little eyes off o my camera and I. But as you can see from the images below he let me play. He let me try some new crazy ideas I had, and Mom & Dad sat by patiently watching. Congrats on your new arrival Mom & Dad…he is beautiful.
I have been trying to get this done for a while now, and I FINALLY sat my bum down over Mother’s Day weekend and did it. The Portrait site is still similar and that will be getting some more updating. But I now have an all new Wedding website. And you can link to all of my sites off one page (seems minor, but something that has bugged me for a while now). I am sure there are still some kinks, and I have to load a couple more galleries. I am also looking for Senior Reps for the 2009 school year. I would like 2 girls and two guys to represent me for the next year. They will get free sessions, brag book of their session, referral cards with their images and free print credits for every session referred by them! I would like to do these REAL soon, so please contact me if you have a senior interested!
I do take time occasionally to capture my own kids. The whole reason I got into photography was to freeze their youth. I cannot believe that he is already 14 months. Everyone tells you that they grow fast, but that is the biggest understatement. I love my children, more than anything in the world, and it is amazing and sad at the same time to watch them grow, change and learn. I want them to stay small forever, but I also look forward to the adventures ahead.
I have doing sessions of this little guy, my Luke, every month since he was born. I hope to take some time to put together a book for him, for me, and for you. With him, I have been doing what I call Babyscapes. Pieces of him, mixed with light, color and lens distortion. A touch artistic and abstract. But the sweetest little parts, that one day will seem like a lifetime ago. If you want babyscapes, ask me about it.
