I want to wish all my wonderful clients and my blog readers a wonderful Holiday and Happy New Year. Those that signed the new client list will be getting their little treat in the mail soon. My lab messed up my first order, and the new order did not get here until late…sorry for the delay!
2009 is going to be filled with even more growth and changes. One of the big changes coming is help! Yay! I have had several people contact me to assist with me, which is mind blowing all on its own. I feel like I am definitely settling into my style, and groove but I still feel I have so so much to learn myself and look up to many other photographers for my own drive and inspiration.
One person stuck out from them all, and came calling at just the right time. Why her? What was different? She was persistant :). Although some may find this annoying and a bit of a pain during a busy season, but I saw it as someone with drive. Someone that knows what she wants, realizes I am busy and made the time to stop in and personally introduce herself. In this business you need all of that. She is raw, and wants to learn and does anything she can to be by my side during a shoot. And on top of that is picking up all the office work pretty quickly. At the moment she is interning for me. Once she gets up to speed and can function in the office on her own she will become my assistant. So I am taking these slower winter months to teach her all I can and hopefully she will be taking a bunch of little things off my hands come spring. So meet Natalie my trusty intern (soon to be assistant). Most of you will be seeing her throughout this coming year.
