My Bean, my eldest, my only girl. I’d give the world to her if I could. But the best the I gave her recently was the gift of work ethic and reward. My Bean has asked me for years now for her own little tiny puppy, her version of a little sister. Someone she can chat too, besides her make believe friends, someone to dress, pamper and love unconditionally (the boys are so done with her tutus). So we made a deal. If she would save half and continue doing well in school we would get her a puppy. Since then she saved half (even after spending some), has made Honor Roll every semester, and shown us through chores and dedication that this is the one thing that she really really wanted and was ready to take care of.
She and I spent hours and hours on the interent, looking for the perfect breed, size, color, and price…tea cups and toys are EXPENSIVE! Like $800-1500 expensive…ouch! We are pound puppy kinda people…so this was a new avenue for us. We finally found a few, and each time we called they were already gone…so heart broken and many explanations that the right one would come along…we waited. Friday evening when the new listings came out, we saw $400 for Bichon Yorkie mix. Before I even had a chance my daughter was Googling the mix to see what they would look like. Of course with any mix, especially one so different they all looked different! We called up the lady, and drove nearly 40 minutes away to see the pups.
Back in the dark country, a bit nervous, and a tad lost (GPS picks up land not driveways out in the country). We finally found it and were greated by four lazy little black puff balls. Since she wanted small, I measured each one to find the petitest little one, and that one was Miss Roxi! Because my daughter was so in love, and I am tad addicted to making these little videos, I wanted to make her a little video of her and her little girl. Get used to these. I am working on getting a really cool new camera and will be offering some fabu videos for my clients mixed with your images!
Enjoy Miss Roxi
