Anne & Clark | Fairfax Wedding Photography for Studio Diana

This is the first year that I have done any second shooting…but I want to get as many weddings under my belt this year that I can…to fine tune some things, and to just have the opportunity to work with some other great photographers. Nothing is better than to be able to talk shop, swap ideas and make a great image happen together.

I had the opportunity to shoot with a wonderful studio out of Fairfax Virginia…Studio Diana. I assisted and shot along side the talented Jenni Green for the marraige of Anne & Clark. Here is a little sneak peek at some of my fav’s from the day.

gratitude | Fredericksburg Virginia Family & Child Photographer

This post is a touch later than I had planned. But seriously…I had a real hard time picking out fav’s for the sneak peek.

I feel like a owe a ton to this family. Julie was one of my first few “real” maternity sessions (outside of friends letting me try stuff on them) 2 years ago. I have since photographed the first year of her first born’s life, and now we are moving onto their precious #2. She has given me so many referrals and has been an amazing client and I look forward to photographing the newest member for the next year.

Thank you Julie and Family for traveling from Richmond to visit one of my fields, and allowing me to capture the youth of your children for you. Thank you for your endless referrals and love for my work.

This is just a sample of this session…there are so so many. Once the entire session is done, I will make a slideshow to share.

Happy 2 Miss C!!!

I can find myself lost in a new person’s blog for hours (shh….don’t tell hubby…they make a minimize function for a reason ;) ). I just wish that I had more time to go to all the ones I love everyday. I can’t. But I check in, and keep up.

The Rain Finally Cooperated – Fredericksburg Virginia Pet & Baby Photographer

This session has been scheduled for months, and rescheduled for months! Rain, rain, and more rain…has delayed it over and over. We got up super early in hopes of some yummy warm morning light only to have complete overcast. BUT…no rain! So we went for it…and I am so glad we did. I could not ask for better clients. Little Mr. was smiling at me the second he was pulled out of his car seat. Maddie made me a little nervous, she bounded out excited and ready to check out the location. In the back of my mind the entire time we were walking to the first spot I was asking myself “self…how do I get not only a 6 month old baby, but a very happy and bouncy 2 year old Boxer to to sit still for family pictures?” *insert a well up of anxiety here*

So I bucked up, and just started doing what I do…keeping imaginary fingers crossed the whole time. And what do you know. Miss Maddie is an angel! Sure she is excited and ready to run everywhere, but when it was time to sit and be pretty…she did just that…and I officially love her now for making my job that simple! You will see from the images below that this is one lucky boy. He is going to have the bestest friend ever in Miss Maddie. Not to mention that he was a champ too…smiled and drooled on cue the entire time! Thank you B family for being to awesome and patient through our new Amazon Rainforest Season!
