I was asked a couple of weeks ago to do a little interview for The Creative Mama Blog. The blog’s creator Angie Warren wanted to do a 2 week feature about photography for Mom’s. I am extremely humbled to be one among some of my favorite photographers (Tara Whitney, Lily Blue, Stacey Woods, just to name a few). Honestly…I had not heard of the blog before…so I ventured over and took a peek, loved it and added it instantly to my blog stalking! Angie does an amazing job with the content and keeping it fun! Oh…and did I mention GIVE-A-WAYS? Yup…she has some goodies for everyone…seasoned photographers, newbies and even just those out there that just want to take better pictures of their kiddos. Read you interview with Ang…love your work. I have been a fan of Angie’s for a few months now. She is a great blogger and photographer herself. LOVE your work and the pictures in Charleston. I live in Greenville County…so close to seeing you in person , but yet, so far!! LOL I will definitely be back for more!

Oh my heavens Marta…I love your work!!! Your interview was also very inspiring. I have had my own photography business for about 3yrs and this past year I had to really cut back the number of sessions I did due to homeschooling my daughter. I’m beginning to get the photography wheels turning again b/c both my kids will go to school this fall. I have never felt like I could be totally “me” b/c people around here haven’t wanted the type/style of photography that I love. When you said that it was a blow to you when your clients didn’t choose any of the images that were your favorites, I was like…”that’s it exactly!” So, thank you for inspiring me to shoot what I want to shoot, shoot it the way I want to shoot and even edit it the way I want to edit it!
