Divine | Northern Virginia Teen & Senior Photographer

This young lady drove all the way from Northern Va to model for me. I was working on some Tutorials for my upcoming Workshop. Am I EVERY happy that she came! Not only is she stunning, but she has Doe Eyes that will be melting boys for years to come, and she is a natural in front of the camera! I am sure you will see this stunning girl again…she has been permenantly been added to my Model List!

Although she is not quite a Senior yet…one more year to go. I would like to put a shout out to the 2010 Seniors (and any other session for that matter) out there! Fall sessions are booking up super fast. September has a good bit of space, October is almost booked solid, and November is filling up! Contact me for current prices!

It is official… | Northern Virginia Portrait Photographer

…I am officially crazy! I know some of you may have already known this, but apparently I had to prove it to myself…so I went off and got a new studio space! But this time…I can shoot in it! Yay me!

I am so excited and will fill you all in on the details soon! My landlord was kind enough to let me shoot one of my long term client’s newborn in there today.

I think he likes my studio too :)

Chiantia & Tim Married | Fredericksburg Virginia Wedding Photographer

I have been working with Chiantia and Tim for a while now, preparing for their wedding. It seems like we are old old friends. Chiantia and I are also kindred spirits with our slight obsession with all things Jcrew :). I first worked with Chiantia and Tim for their Engagement Session (one of my fav’s) and none of us could wait for the big day!

Tim & Chiantia are one of those couples that just ooze peace, love, faith and happiness. Throw in a superb sense of style and you have the perfect couple to work with. The day was filled visual details galore, and more spirit than one knows what to do with. From the groom singing a song to Chiantia as she walked down the isle, prayer, live music and choir through out the ceremony, and modern dance towards the end of the evening. As most weddings do, this one had a minor glitch that cost us our portrait time, but do not worry, we have big plans to make that up, and it will be well worth it!

Not a single detail was missed by Mr. Samuel (Chiantia’s Father) who had a very big hand in designing and pulling together the look and feel of this gorgeous and spiritual wedding day. The event took place at the Fawn Lake Country Club and spilled out under two large tents the nuzzled right up to the edge of the lake.

Newborn & Teen Model Casting Call – Marta Locklear Photography

I am need of a few models ASAP! Preferably anytime between August 14 & 18 (this weekend). Please share this post with anyone that you may know that may be interested.

What I need.

Newborn(s) 2 weeks and under

Teen (s) 15-19 – Good attitude and willing to pose and be creative

Needs to be willing to travel to Fredericksburg Virginia, available for 1 session 1-3 hours between August 14-18.

Must sign model release for video and stills.
