I have 2 boys on the spectrum and know from personal experience that is is almost impossible to find a photographer who know about autism. I love these images! You have done a wonderful job and i do think it was important to mention autism, otherwise families in the same situation won't know you are happy to photograph them. Well done. I love these images! I love that you shared his story and love all your stories about the families you bond with. And thanks for the tips on dealing with special needs children. I recently did a photo shoot for a high school friend. Her son has tourets syndrome and aspergers. Things went well and mom told me that she has never been able to get a good picture of him since he was a baby. He's 12! That made my day! I volunteered to teach photography to children with disabilities at a local center here, Eva's heroes. I am not the best photographer but just getting the opportunity to show them different capabilities with something I love would be just gratifying to me. I hope my application gets selected!
