Blush Boudoir | VA, DC, MD Boudoir Photographer

I have been so busy lately with my sister company Blush Boudoir. Lucky for me I get to share the experience and work load with fellow photographer Tiffani Sunshine. Over the last couple of months we have had 3 Blush Boudoir Marathons (normally 1 every 1-2 months) and have even had to add 2 more Marathons to our calendars due to the number of inquiries!

June 26 in Fredericksburg, VA (1 spot left)

July 10 in DC (2 spots left)

We photograph women of all ages, backgrounds and sizes. Anywhere from a mom of 3 to a new bride surprising her groom as a wedding gift. Even women just wanting to embrace the hard work they put into maintaining their bodies, or just having something to look back on when they are 70. Blush is for everyone.

Jessica - I follow your blog and love your photography, often with my kids on my lap. As a mom with kids, I was surprised to see that you mix “boudoir” shots with your family friendly ones. You should have a separate website with these pictures and not mix them up on your regular blog. You’re a mom yourself.

marta - Thank you for your comments.
I do not censor comments, however, I do ask that in the future if one has a negative-ish comment, to please email me directly.

I appreciate all of my blog readers and take their opinions to heart. I have since removed all but one image from the post and directed the readers to the Blush Boudoir blog to see more if they wish.

Since you do follow my blog often, you will notice that I rarely post Blush images on my regular photography blog. I did want to share some images and make my clients aware that I do offer this service and was quite proud of the new images.

With all this said, I am a mom, but I do not hide my business from my kids (personally). I grew up in the world of Fine Art where nudes were prevalent and nothing to be ashamed of. My work is tasteful, and the images I felt were a bit “much” for the blog were left off the blog just for this reason. I do not edit the images around my children, but I would not be afraid of them seeing the ones that are posted online.

I do however completely respect the opinions of my blog readers and will direct the reader to the Blush blog for now on.

Alinta - As a mother of children too, I have absolutly no problem at all with these images being on your blog, and think they are beautiful and sensual. My son just pointed and asked of the woman, and I told him it was of a beautiful lady. Each to there own though, of course.

Marta, beautiful work, and yes I understand that people from all ages, all walks of life may read your blog, I think these images are and were beautiful. Wonderful work.
