It is always a teeny bit nerve racking to photograph another photographer. It is also an honor. We have a pretty big community and know a lot of other photographers. So to have one seek you out and commission you to capture one of the most important times of their lives is…well…like I said…an honor. Melissa from Melissa Arlena Photography recently had her most handsome little boy and wanted to capture him on film and with her husband and their first babies. It is now one of my favorite sessions…and the family image at the end…perfect and makes me envious to have an image similar for my very own family.
Oh, and the nursery she did for her new little man…adorable. She did all the painting and sewing herself. Talent galore!

I have to thank Melissa for trusting my film skills when I showed up. I gave her the option (shot both) but we both had a gut feeling that the film would prevail…and it did. Lots of trial and error over the last year to get me here though!
