Rain or shine….weddings must go on. In a month of stunning warm, dry weather we had one of the wettest days yesterday. Yet, Grace & Robert’s wedding was meticulously scheduled and planned and was bound to continue regardless of what Mother Nature had in mind. This is just a teeny tiny peek into the spirit of the day, regardless of our overly soaked toes. Congrats Grace & Robert…have a wonderful Honeymoon!
I am on the hunt for ONE couple…madly in love…comfortable showing it…and willing to trust me to style and document that at a location of my choosing (already have some plans). Engaged is great…but just madly in love is more than enough :). You would need to be willing to travel to NOVA, Warrenton or Fredericksburg, Va for a 1-2 hour session during late May or early June and sign a model release for me and possible publication.
In return I will shoot & style a full session for free & include a $150 ala carte credit.

As many of you know I have been working pretty hard at perfecting my film skills. On April 1st, I shot the most film I have shot yet, only my second round with Medium Format, and on a very important shoot. I have waited painstakingly for a little over a week for the 15 rolls to get back to see if I screwed anything up. Today I sit here completely satisfied and honestly hating the digital versions I shot. Don’t get me wrong, they are lovely…and are probably some of the best digital images I have taken…but the film blows them out of the water in my opinion. I am sold…100% in love and getting more and more confident in my abilities every day.
This is just one frame, because this is waiting on publication so I am on lock down until it publishes…the next VERY painstaking part of this whole process.
