Design A Glow | Products for Photographers

I have been a fan of Design A Glow for years now. Addicted to the Digital Magazine they put out and the fresh templates and creative ideas they throw at us on a constant basis. I use many of their products and highly recommend them to all.

So when I received an email a couple of weeks ago that they would like to use some of my photography for a few of their new products they are releasing I was beyond honored. Yesterday one of the products was released and I wanted to share it with my lovely blog readers (and make sure that you were fully aware of Design A Glow). There are several wonderful photographer featured in this particular product as well. My images are the newborns (which I heart :) ).

Newborn & Senior Casting Call | Virginia Newborn Photographer

I have a Evolve Mentoring session coming up on July 6, 7 & 8 and I am still in need of a couple of models. The subjects must be willing to send in a photograph (snap shots are fine) and be willing to sign a model release for the images to be used on my site and the second photographers website.

I need:

Newborn: 5-14 days old during the shoot

Senior: 2010 or 2011 or a teen that can pass as a senior.

Willing to travel to Fredericksburg, Va on July 6, 7 or 8 (just one trip…not all 3 days)

What you get:

Free session with Marta Locklear and second photographer

5 high res digital files

Full gallery for you to choose additional images from if you wish to purchase.

How:

Newborn- email me at marta [at] martalocklear.com the babies birth date and your availability

Senior- send a recent photo (snap shots are fine) of the senior

Have an Epiphanie?? | Photography Contest

I was head over heels in love with these bags the second I saw the website. It was about time that a bag was designed with the fashionable woman in mind. There are a lot of great bags out there…but nothing jumped off the screen grabbed my wallet and screamed “buy me right now”…Epiphanie Bags did. I spent probably hours trying to decide which one I wanted. I loved all 3 for different reasons, and if I was not the practical person I am, I would have bought one of each to go with different outfits! I personally ended up with Belle (the turquoise one) mainly because I was ready to make a statement and my current favorite handbag is already brown (Ginger obviously being my second choice).

Belle has been all over with me, and she will make her first trip to Toronto this coming weekend. She has visited the pool and been questioned by the locals. Most think she is just a great looking purse and are shocked to know she carries my right hand man Mr. Mark.

Epiphanie has generously donated a bag for me to give away…so here is your chance to get one for yourself. Since this is for photography purposes this will be an image contest! So….
