My daughter has had a little passion for cake decorating…maybe because mama has always gone a teeny bit overboard with their birthday cakes and cupcakes? I just love anything that I can get creative with…cakes are no exception. When I need a break from the photography world (or I just need a new subject to photograph) I have started to decorate cakes. Here is my first attempt at this icing technique with a little ombre thrown in! Not to mention the plum preserves filling! Yum!!
Rain or shine….weddings must go on. In a month of stunning warm, dry weather we had one of the wettest days yesterday. Yet, Grace & Robert’s wedding was meticulously scheduled and planned and was bound to continue regardless of what Mother Nature had in mind. This is just a teeny tiny peek into the spirit of the day, regardless of our overly soaked toes. Congrats Grace & Robert…have a wonderful Honeymoon!
I am on the hunt for ONE couple…madly in love…comfortable showing it…and willing to trust me to style and document that at a location of my choosing (already have some plans). Engaged is great…but just madly in love is more than enough :). You would need to be willing to travel to NOVA, Warrenton or Fredericksburg, Va for a 1-2 hour session during late May or early June and sign a model release for me and possible publication.
In return I will shoot & style a full session for free & include a $150 ala carte credit.
