Session Style . Marta’s Picks Part II

As promised in yesterday’s in depth post about styling tips for your photography session with me….here are the adult versions. Again, for this post I went to my trusty timeless, classic, yet ever so stylish Jcrew. You just can’t go wrong with JCrew. It is put together, yet slightly casual, and timeless (no looking back at these images 10 years from now wondering what you were thinking!).

Also I want to invite you into my world of inspiration at Pinterest.com. I was just invited to share my picks today, so it is a work in progress, but I am in love with the concept and can’t wait to share all the things that make me go….OOOOOH…when I surf the web! Check out my page and my inspiration boards here.

* heart * | Richmond Childrens Photographer

I always look forward to sessions with this darling family. See Mama was one of my first “stranger” clients nearly 3 years ago when she was prego with her first. We are far from strangers now. I feel more like an old friend or family member they pop in on every few months, it is comfortable, casual and the kids are very use to me.

This yummy little boy was my very first studio client for his newborn session and was a complete gem the entire time and now he is back at 6 months to ham it up even more. Luckily for Mom and Dad my husband would leave me if I brought home a baby, cause I would have stole him in a hot second! I just can’t wait to see them all again in 6 months!

Be prepared for the yummiest squishiest little boy ever (aside from my own of course :) ).

Girlie Girl | Northern Virginia Child Photographer

I know that I am always in for some great accessories and girlie girl outfits when this little sweet pea arrives. She was adorned with a Tutu and Big Bow for her newborn shoot, and now a plethora of hair bows, hats, and the cutest little knit dress. At only 4 months she was already taking her first no assistance sit, and throwing more smiles at me than I knew what to do with.

I can’t wait to see you again at month 8!
