This week I decided to take you all on my walk with me to find the hue & texture. Just a little peek into how I find and see things.
Apparently I forget to “breathe” while I am talking and concentrating through my lens. So excuse my breathy voice. I wasn’t over worked…just focused and breathing went on the bottom of the priority list…lol.

Part of my 2011 “decisions” (instead of resolutions) is to take more family photos. This past year I didn’t do this nearly enough and I should be shamed for it. We have all heard of the “shoemakers children have no shoes”.
So here is Luke & his Pet (this is what he calls him). His Pet was his main highlight gift from Santa this year…he came to or home and even left Dino footprints all over for us to follow and find him. As most of you know Dinosaurs are a huge part of Luke’s world and he can probably out smart you with knowledge of them even at his young age of 3. Camera stats at the bottom.




Here is a perfect example of Finding the Light. The room is Warf Grey walls, so it is not the brightest room, the window is south facing, but the sun was mainly to the west. The subject did not need to be perfectly lit in this. It was about the moment the strength of the light and shadow, and the framing of the image in the window area.
