Miss M . Child Photographer

She was adorable and so full of character the first time I photographed her…and she didn’t lack an ounce of that a couple of years later. AND…due to an unexpected closing of the farm we were supposed to shoot at..we were able to stumble upon an entire new location! Yay iPhone and teeny bit of on fly vision ;).

Also, I totally want her dress from Tea Collection!

Shelby & Brian . 10.17.11 . Jamaica Destination Wedding

As you can see, the images speak for themselves. This wedding…this couple…this family…was just amazing. I know, I know. I say that about a lot of my clients (it is true), but this one is no exception. Having the honor to not only photograph a wedding, but to be asked to travel to a destination to cover the wedding is an entire other level.

Shelby and Brian invited their closest friends and family to join them at The Grand Palladium Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The trip was breathtaking from the moment we flew over the coral reefs in preparation to land in Montego Bay. Add a unique Anthropologie BHDLN Dress (yes, a girls dream), adorable flower girls, perfectly planned details and decor by Shelby …I was in photographer piggy heaven the entire time.

We did have a bit of a rain hiccup right about ceremony time, with a few rain “stop” dances (see her Dad above) and a lot of patience the ceremony was relocated and nothing short of just as special. After a lot of dancing and delicious food, Shelby & Brian ended the evening with the lighting and letting go of Chinese Wish Lanterns off the cliffs next to the ocean. A perfect and special ending to a great day.

Of course Shelby, Brian and I had to get in more portrait time around the grounds sans rain, so we agreed to have them get all dressed up again and do portraits of the two of them the next morning. TOTALLY worth it…totally, totally worth it!
